This township is located 9 K.M. way from the Central Business District of KMDA. It is served by two major roads viz. Rashbehari connector and the Eastern Metropolitan Bypass which is passing through the township. The Ballygunge Railway Station lies close to the township and few miles away from Netaji Subhas International airport.
The total project area envisaged for development is around 647 acres and the projected population of the township is expected to be more 50,000. This township provides developed sites and service plots for housing to individuals of various income groups such as HIG, MIG, LIG & EWS & Co-operative basis. Constructing Abasan is allotted to the beneficiaries. A no. of plots is envisaged for commercial uses. The no. may be around 218. Basic Community facilities like Schools, Health Centers, Shopping Complex, Police Station are existing.
