Brief Description and Functions

R&B Sector is involved in the infrastructure development work in Kolkata Metropolitan Area (KMA) in the field of roads, bridges, underpasses, FOBs consisting preparation of new schemes, construction & maintenance. Besides, R&B Sector carries out health study for condition assessment of bridges which are in distressed condition and subsequent repair & retrofitting works of the bridges to enhance their life span.
